Interesting driving experience with a Le Mans Prototype Ligier at Magny-Cours GP circuit, in France. The car is a Ligier JS P3 owned by Yvan Muller racing team. This amazing car has a Nissan naturally aspirated V8 engine of 430 HP, for a weight of only 930 kg. The car was set for the Le Mans race (2 weeks ago) - maybe too long gearbox scale, but incredible breaking power. I really tend to set reproducible laps (8 laps in total), far from the limit of the car... but I was really afraid of breaking it (that would have ruined the season of the team). I found the size of the car was very impressive (I'm used to Formula Renault) and the field of view very small (compared to open-seater). Nevertheless, the top speed and breaking power was incredible. For the driver's eye persective, I used a Cambox v4 PRO. It was placed inside my helmet, behind the windshield. I personnaly find it very immersive. The driving sessions were organized by LRS Formula, a very professionnal company, dedicated to monoplace racing, quite unique in Europe (if not worldwide). I only can strongly recommand them for such experience. They own several F1 car, as smaller Formula Renault 2.0 cars for monoplace practice and they also can organise such LMP3 sessions. They go in the most famous circuits around France, and also in Barcelona and Portimao. You will find more informations at this adress: https://www.lrs-formula.com. Also many thanks to the team of Yvan Muller, who owned the car and give us the support of the day, with an amazing mecanician. Thanks also to my coach, Adrien, an incredible value for me, in terms of advices, security and kindness.
