Bosco Sodi 'A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains' at Axel Vervoordt Gallery Hong Kong

Axel Vervoordt Gallery Hong Kong is pleased to present a solo show “A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains”, with new works created in situ by Bosco Sodi (Mexico City, b. 1970). It’s the artist’s first solo show in Hong Kong and the Greater China region at large. In December 2019, Sodi spent two weeks in the city to create new works specifically exploring the depths and boundaries of the colour turquoise. This residency program offered unique insights into the artist’s private workspace and viewers obtained deeper understanding of Sodi’s oeuvre. This video tells the story about Bosco Sodi's residency in Hongkong and the creation of his artwork. The exhibition is open until September 5th, 2020.
