Passionate about music since a child, the influences of funk, metal, hip-hop, jazz and breaks are present in his productions. But it's techno that constitutes a fundamental piece of his initial works. In 2008 he realized one of his dreams, teaming up as a producer and head of management for the label Novo Music together with his friend Leix. The quality productions and the great feedback from several DJ’s and artists soon boosted the business, with a need to expand over frontiers. His productions have been supported by many, including Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Dubfire, Kerri Chandler and Maceo Plex to just to name a few. Doop Ba is a sassy, funky, groovy infectious slice that will definitely force some moves out on the floors. The track is layered with a cacophony of quirky sounds over a solid breaks drum arrangement and punchy bassline which is the driving force of the dynamic groove. Huge chord stabs, jazzy vocals and keys all make for a unique sound that will definitely grab a lot of attention. The original mix of Tell To Mama intros with a nice chunky kick drum and crispy hi hat combi. An electrifying pulsing bass note fades in as deep rumbling percussions add an extra low end flavour. Metallic sounds combine with a squelchy bassline as cool vocals and subtle funky riffs come through. A mesmerizing break reveals sublime cosmic pads which adds a bit of spice to the groove. A top notch cut that will not disappoint. On remix duties we welcome Patrick Zigon for his debut appearance on Monog with a superb remix on Tell To Mama. Patrick Zigon is an artist in the truest sense of the word paying extra attention to sound design and atmospheres in his club tracks so that they have something to express rather than just working on the dance floor. He has countless trademark releases and remixes on labels such as Cocoon and Highgrade. He's played Gigs at legendary German clubs like Panoramabar, Tresor & Kater and has held a long-term residency at Climax Institutes, Stuttgart as well as intense touring all over the planet. Over the years he has remixed the likes of Steve Lawler, Guy Gerber & Shlomi Aber, Gregor Tresher, Reboot, Gui Boratto, Terranova, Ramon Tapia, David K and Guy J. His own label - Biotop Label - launched in 2012 and focuses on all forms of electronic music. A huge influential artist on the music scene, we are delighted to have him on board. Here the remix intros with a very nice bassy kick drum and shuffling hi hat sequence. In the background we find surreal atmospheres made up of intriguing pads and a mesmeric synth.
