LA Trip VLOG: Inside the Google Hanger, Beauty Creators & Spring Fashion for Women Over 50

I'm back from my LA trip! Today's vlog is packed with sun, style, and exciting surprises! Come along for a week of exploring the marina, walking the historic *Venice Canals*, and tracking down the perfect *spring fashion finds and a little skincare shopping for women over 50 When I'm in LA, my favorite way to begin the day is wandering the marina with coffee or heading to a local coffee shop to relax. We usually bring our grandpup, Blue, along with us, and then spend some time shopping around the neighborhood. *Fahsion and Shopping* This time, my focus was finding new pieces for an upcoming fashion video, specifically hunting for spring pants and new belts. Of course, I also had to do some skincare shopping! We stopped by Credo, where I found my favorite RŌZ shampoo, and popped into Ulta to check out the fascinating new dermatology-focused products that have arrived. In the afternoons, we love putting Blu in the car and heading to the beach to catch a Pacific sunset—truly a gorgeous experience. *The Historic Venice Canals & Spruce Goose Hangar* One of our favorite things to do is take long walks through the **Venice Canals**. I share a quick history of the canals, which were originally built in 1905 and fully restored in the 1990s—it’s a truly peaceful and overlooked spot in Venice. *The Creator Event* The trip's highlight was an unforgettable evening at the historic Spruce Goose Hangar for a creators event! This hangar was originally built in the 1940s by Howard Hughes to house the largest wooden aircraft ever made. I couldn't believe I ran into Penn Smith! Complete and happy surprise, I had the pleasure of connecting with some incredible *beauty creators*, including Sandra Sallin, Diana from Unblahyourself, Risa from Risa Does Makeup and Michelle Wong. It was an inspiring night of learning and sharing stories! We were all inspired by an amazing talk given by Roberto Blake. I hope you enjoy this look inside our week!
