This is one of the best roller coasters I've ridden and it is the best coaster in the park in my opinion. This Hyper Coaster was built by B&M and opened here on May 1, 1999 and has been thrilling riders ever since. A Hyper Coaster is any roller coaster over two hundred feet tall without any inversions. This coaster only has a simple "T" style lap bar system since there are no inversions on a Hyper Coaster like this one which really does add to the thrill element. The more familiar "over-the-shoulder" restraint system is required on roller coasters that have inversions. There is a theme for this ride which goes as follows according to RCDB.com. This coaster was named after a ferocious beast that terrorized the citizens of the old Southwest Territory area. They fled he area and built the mission and courtyard that still sits in the area today. The old town mission is being used for the coasters loading station. This legend was created when the area opened up in 1999. Raging Bull is 5,057 feet long, is 202 feet tall with a drop of 208 feet, has a top speed of about 73 mph and a ride time of about two minutes and thirty seconds.
