The 4 Problems: Can God Be "Unjust"? | Divine Justice Episode 2 Can Allah put the Prophet (s) in Hell and Shaitaan (l) in Heaven? It sounds impossible, but who actually defines what is "just"—us or God? In this episode, we tackle the deep philosophical divide that shaped Islamic thought for centuries: the battle between Tawheed (Oneness) and Justice. The 4 Problems We dive into the four core problems that every seeker of truth eventually faces: Free Will vs. Predestination: Does man have power, or is he just a tool in God’s hand? If we are forced to act, how can punishment ever be fair? The Definition of Justice: Is justice a fixed reality that God must follow, or is justice simply whatever God decides to do? Good & Evil (Husn & Qubh): Are truth and generosity good in their essence, or are they only "good" because revelation says so? Divine Motives: Does God act with a purpose or "why" in mind, or is that a human limitation we shouldn't project onto the Creator? The Great Debate: Ash’ariyyah vs. Mu’tazilah Explore the "Public Relations War" between the two major schools of thought: The Mu’tazilees: Known as the Ahl ul-'Adl (People of Justice), they argue that reason ('aql) allows us to understand goodness and that God must act justly. The Ash’arees: They argue that God is not bound by any rules or human frameworks. To them, God acts first, and that act becomes the definition of justice. Tawheed or Justice? One side sacrificed a specific view of Tawheed to protect the concept of Justice; the other gave up Justice to protect the absolute Oneness of God's actions. Which side makes more sense to you? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more content from Illuminating Hearts Institute: / @qurantreasures786
