A lone warrior stands in the snow, wounded but unbroken. “Road to Valhalla” is a tale of endurance, sacrifice and the final march toward destiny — where honor matters more than survival. This track is built upon one of my own old compositions from years ago, reshaped and reborn through a new vision and modern tools. A journey from past to present — much like the warrior’s road itself. All music and artwork were created with the aid of AI tools, shaped by human vision and direction. 🔔 Subscribe for more tales of fire and steel. Lyrics & concept: Tales of Power and Doom "Road to Valhalla" The road is red beneath my feet, It drinks the last of what I bleed. My shield lies split, my axe is gone, The ravens know I don’t belong. The wind is cold along the plain, It carries smoke and broken names. I hear their laughter far behind, The ones I leave, the ones I find. My breath is fire in frozen air, Each step a prayer I never dared. Still I walk… through ash and snow, Bones like iron, burning slow. Torn and hollow, yet unbowed, I do not kneel, I am not cowed. If Valhalla waits beyond the flame, Let it remember my broken name. My body weeps through shattered mail, My vision fades, my heartbeat frail. The sky turns dark, the earth grows wide, I feel the tide pull from inside. I taste the salt of ancient seas, Hear distant horns on dying breeze. The hall of gold, the endless feast, Feels close as death, feels far as peace. No fear remains, no rage, no cry, Only the will that will not die. Still I walk… through blood and stone, Every step I take alone. Flesh is torn and sinews fail, Yet iron lives within my trail. If Valhalla calls my final breath, I answer standing, not in death. Brothers fallen in the mud, I carry you within my blood. Mother, I return to light, Through endless dusk and fading sight. Still I walk… the road is long, Carved in silence, carved in song. Broken body, spirit whole, Fire guarding fading soul. Open gates of ancient hall— I come as I am… I did not fall. One more step… Still I walk.
