Two states are controlled by the single button: On or Off...no bright/dim or flashing modes. A single 365 nm UV LED, no other colors. It does have a "pull to zoom" lens on the front, so you can switch between a wide beam and a spotlight mode. The body is made of aluminum, and it has a removable pocket clip, and a rubber cover over the USB-C charging port. It will correctly do USB-C PD negotiation, so you can successfully charge it via a USB-C Power Delivery charger, or by using the included USB-A to USB-C cable. It comes with a user replaceable 18650 battery. The battery in my flashlight tested at a capacity of 1,900 mAh, which is perfectly reasonable for a flashlight at this price point, but does leave some room to upgrade if you want to pay extra to buy a higher capacity 18650 battery to swap in. The runtime with the stock 1,900 mAh battery was just over 3 hours. The power button has a red/green LED under it, and when the UV light is on it will shine green. When the flashlight battery is fully depleted it will flash red. When it is charging it shows red, and when the charge is finished, it shines green. Overall I am very impressed with the build quality and limited but perfectly right feature set of this flashlight. Darkbeam also makes a smaller (easier to carry, but not as powerful) Dual Beam UV Flashlight (365nm and 395nm + white and red lights) that you might consider if size is a concern.
