Watch for 10 Battle Bay tips and tricks that will help you improve your game and climb to a higher rank! Important Updates: As of June 1, 2017, the team with more players alive when the clock runs out will be the winner so tip 2 no longer applies. Check out my in-depth video on how to aim: • Aiming Tutorial - Improve Your Accuracy in... I really hope you all like these tips and tricks. While some of them are very situational, many of them can be implemented in every game you play. Here are some notes that didn’t quite make it into the final video that you may still find useful: Hitting your explosive weapons against a wall is a trick I like to use all the time. Depending on how far from the blast your opponent is, the damage will be reduced but the damage reduction is better than doing no damage at all. The crew members Mortimer and Sinklair both have talents that increases area damage. This will allow the blast from your explosive weapons to increase. Although it isn’t very clear if the talent applies to all explosive weapons, it seems that it does. Many players follow a pretty simple pattern of switching to the weapon you will shoot and then quickly firing. If you have a nitro or tesla shield, you can activate it right when you see someone switch them weapon to avoid taking damage. Playing for a draw can be difficult, especially if you have a slower ship. If you succeed to create a tie, everyone will either gain or lose about 1 or 2 infamy which is much better than how much you normally lose. When you are looking to hit an enemy slightly beyond the range indicator, you need to be looking at the color of the target circle. When the circle turns green, it means your weapon will still hit the target even if they are out of range. I’m not entirely sure what causes this discrepancy but I think it has to do with the extra range you can reach when you are shooting from a higher part of a wave. Again, I hope these tips and tricks were useful. Practice them and you will see improvement in your games. Good luck in the bay!
