Law desde 1986 hasta 1994, por la cual recibió cuatro nominaciones consecutivas en los Premios Emmy, obteniendo la victoria en la última (1992). Biografía y carrera RICHARD DYSART nació en Boston, Massachussetts en 1929. Fue hijo de Alice y Douglas Dysart, un pediatra. Fue criado entre Skowhegan y Augusta, en el estado de Maine. Estudió en la Academia Gould en Bethel (Maine). Con el alentamiento de su madre, Dysart actuó en un teatro de verano en Lakewood Theater, cerca de Skowhegan. También trabajó en una estación de radio. Obtuvo el bachiller y máster en comuncación del Emmerson College en Boston, aunque su educación fue interrumpida para prestar servicio militar por cuatro años durante la Guerra de Corea. En Emerson, actuó en teatro, y fue un secretario estudiantil y vice-presidente de su clase. Fue hermano en la fraternidad Phi Alpha Tau. También estudió en la Universidad de George Washington. Law from 1986 to 1994, for which he received four consecutive Emmy Award nominations, winning the last one (1992). Biography and career RICHARD DYSART was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1929. He was the son of Alice and Douglas Dysart, a pediatrician. He was raised between Skowhegan and Augusta, in the state of Maine. He studied at the Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine. With the encouragement of his mother, Dysart performed in a summer theater at the Lakewood Theater, near Skowhegan. He also worked at a radio station. He received a bachelor's and master's degree in communication from Emmerson College in Boston, although his education was interrupted to serve in the military for four years during the Korean War. At Emerson, he performed on stage, and was a student secretary and vice-president of his class. He was a brother in the Phi Alpha Tau fraternity. He also studied at George Washington University. He returned for his master's degree many years later, finishing it in 1981. Following his long acting career, Dysart received a Drama Desk Award in 1972 and an Emmy in 1992. Death Dysart passed away at his residence in Santa Monica, California on April 5, 2015 after several years of fighting cancer. He was eighty-six years old.
