Usually you will be removing the steering wheel in case you are replacing the airbag clockspring or in case you have to fix or replace any of the steering wheel controls. ( 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | SE | CVP | AMP | SXT | LIMITED | CREW | VALUE PACKAGE | EXPRESS ). To completely remove the steering wheel, first you will have to remove the driver airbag to gain access to the 13mm bolt holding the steering wheel in place. Removing the steering wheel airbag is easy. It is held by only two 10mm screws, one on each side of the steering wheel. Disconnect the airbag and remove it. Now remove 13mm bolt in the middle of the steering wheel. That's it. East to do yourself. Make sure to mark the position of the steering wheel when removing it and align with the small dot.
