Brain Injury management in ICU by Prof Samir Elansary

Prof. Samir Elansary is a professor of anaesthesia and intensive care medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, with a special interest in intensive care. He is a great intensivist in Egypt and the Middle East. He is the greatest contributor to the Mega Online Anaesthesiology Course by the most number of lectures and academia. In this lecture, Prof. Elansary has discussed brain injury, causes, manifestation, signs and symptoms. as regards the management, he talked about the pathophysiology of increased intracranial pressure, how to deal with it and different methods of decreasing the ICP. Prof. Elansary talked extensively about diuresis, osmotic diuresis, and steroids in brain injuries. It is simply a thoroughly comprehensive review of brain injury management.
