The Electric power is used to turn an Electric motor which is connected to a clever gear box hooked to the gasoline engine. This is a power split device that allows the car to operate like a parallel hybrid where the Electric motor can power the car on itself, gasoline engine can power by itself or they can do it together. In the power steering system of a motor vehicle, when the engine is idling, the fluid pressure from the power steering pump is enough to easily turn the wheels as noted when parking. When you accelerate, the excess pressure is turned to the reservoir without doing any work through a release valve inside the pump. Instead of this pressure going back to the reservoir unused, it’s going to be diverted to an alternative ram cylinder that is connected to the drive shafts through a crank shaft thus helping the gasoline engine turn the wheels improving efficiency and reducing fuel consumption just like the electric/gasoline engine. The crankshaft converts the linear motion of the cylinder piston to circular The Power Steering Pump is the hydraulic system that allows the driver to turn the steering wheel without taking much effort. When you turn your steering wheel it turns the steering column that leads down to the steering rack. The rack moves by turning the pinion that is connected to the steering column. Turning the wheel without using the steering pump would be difficult at low, parking-lot speeds. The pump is what drives the power steering. Inside the pump there are retractable rotary vanes that spin in an oval chamber. This takes the power steering fluid from the reservoir and pressurizes it. The fluid travels down a high pressure rated hose into the steering rack, which is connected to the wheels to help you turn the wheels left or right. The steering rack then applies the pressurized fluid against a hydraulic piston that aids in the movement of the steering rack in either direction. A belt connected to your engine funs the pump. This means that the amount of flow of pressurized fluids depends on the speed that the engine is running. There is a pressure relief valve in the pump that makes sure the pressure does not become too high while driving at high engine speeds. The invention is in the field of hybrid Engines.
