This bamboo flute has been a part of his life since his childhood.  Butto has learnt fundamentals of Raga with Professor M.M. Patnaik in Bhubaneswar, India. Then in Mumbai he learned the finer aspects of raga, improvisation and creativity under the tutelage of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, the greatest flute maestro of India. Achievements: During his professional journey Butto has toured all over the world,representing India in many world cultural meets, playing solo concerts, doing workshops on Indian music. He has been a visiting professor to Colorado University, USA. Has become a permanent collaborator with the International School of Theatre Anthropology (ISTA) Denmark.
