Can you beat a Pokemon Platinum Hardcore Nuzlocke using only the power of friendship? I've been a fan of these types of videos for a while now, and I wanted to see what it would be like to actually record and produce a post-commentary nuzlocke video. I love the emergent storytelling that comes from these runs, and while I learned a lot about the process, I’m excited to keep improving my editing and commentary for future uploads. Ruleset: 1. A Pokemon faints, it dies 2. Can only catch the first viable Pokemon I find on each route 3. No items are allowed to be used in battle. 4. No leveling past the next gym leader's ace 5. Game must be played in set mode. 6. Only Pokemon that evolve by friendship evolution can be used. Any Pokemon that exists further in the evolution line that does not evolve by friendship cannot be used. 7. If I have a female Pikachu, I can breed a Pichu with Volt Tackle and replace the original Pikachu (see, it's in the rules so it would have been ok) 8. Species Clause is in effect.
