In this new Tentacle Tribe trio, Emmanuelle’s choreographic path unfolds from simple to complex geometry while articulating and bending movement under the guidance of the intricate art of origami. The Canadian-Swedish creative alliance was formed in 2012 when they performed for Cirque Du Soleil in Quebec City. They have since created many pieces that have toured internationally in over 35 cities. Their choreography has also been adapted into dance films: Elon & Emmanuelle, Vanishing Points and Crack the Cypher. The duo has also choreographed commissions at Arizona State University, at York University and on Vancouver’s OURO Collective.
