There is no way anyone hasn't heard of Robocop. At least that's what I thought until recently when I spoke with a younger coworker, and he didn't know who RoboCop was. See, I grew up watching Robocop as it was my dad's favourite movie, and after many repeated marathons of the movie, Robocop ceased to become a character for me. For me, he was like a sign of a future, dystopian world where everything would be terrifying because man and machine would become one, and things wouldn't be that good. I genuinely thought that RoboCop would be something of an absolute, you know? There was such a craze about Robocop. But now, things are different.
