Oradea is a city in western Romania, located near the Hungarian border. Established in the 11th century, Oradea has some interesting Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings. The city and Romania in general is gaining a bit in popularity as a tourist destination, thanks to budget airlines and - in Oradea's case - even thermal spas. We start our tour at the Union Square, where we can see well-preserved Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings. We get to the city center and its main streets after sunset. Some streets and even the park are rather empty now so we return to our starting point.
