Mecca is supposedly the birthplace of the prophet Muhammad and the birthplace of Islam, so it is central to the Islamic narrative. It is where Adam and Eve lived (see Surah 7:24 where it is written that they were thrown down to earth, which, according to the S.I.N. was specifically the city of Mecca). That would suggest that it is the oldest city in existence, as there is no person older than these two. It is also, according to the Qur'an, the city where Abraham lived, and where he tried to destroy the idols situated within the Kaaba (see Surah 21:51-71). So, it had to exist at least in 1900 B.C. the century when Abraham lived. According to all of the Islamic Traditions (i.e. the S.I.N.) Mecca, when Muhammad was living, in the 7th century was the center of trade, north, south, east and west. So, it certainly should have been well known by that century. It seems, therefore, that everything in Islam is dependent on this city's existence, because without it all of these references to it in both the Qur'an and within the SIN would prove to be false, which would eradicate any hope for historical accuracy. If we can't trust the these two sources for getting something so essential and important as this one city correct, than how can we trust anything else these two sources say? Yet, as we will soon see in these episodes, there are several discrepancies between the Standard Islamic Narrative (S.I.N.) and the actual historical and geographical record which researchers are uncovering today. Since Islam claims that Mecca was the oldest and great city ever known in history, where Adam and Eve lived, where great trade happened, and where beautiful and verdant foliage and water thrived, then all we need to do is show that just one of these claims is untrue, to prove that the whole narrative is untrue. What's, more, if we can prove that Mecca didn't exist, then we will also prove that Muhammad and the Qur'an, who both came from Mecca (at least initially), couldn't have existed either, which would make Islam deeply tenuous as a viable faith to follow; because without the Book, the Man, or the Place, what are we then left with...an Islam without any foundation. Watch as Al Fadi and Dr. Jay begin digging into these problems with Mecca, and more. © Pfander Centre for Apologetics - US, Dec. 28, 2022 (69,560) Music: "Joy at Work" by Musiclfiles, from filmmusic-io
