Victoria Police have established Taskforce Summit to streamline the manhunt for Dezi Freeman, who allegedly shot and killed two Victorian police officers almost two months ago. The taskforce is based in the Great Alpine area and led by Crime Command detectives, with hundreds of officers from Victoria, interstate and New Zealand searching Porepunkah and surrounding bushland. A one million dollar reward remains on offer for information leading to Freeman's arrest.
