This is a recreation of the end titles from Gerry Anderson's Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967-8), a television programme about space-war between the Mysterons and the paramilitary organisation Spectrum. Originally, Reg Hill, the producer, planned to have paintings of Captain Scarlet in action, with animated zoom-ins. However, for whatever reason, they were unable to do this. "On Saturday 11 February 1967 the paintings were filmed on a rostrum camera at Studio Film Laboratories of 71 Dean Street, London, a specialist film and television titling and optical printing company that had also created the title sequences for 'Thunderbirds Are Go'. Shot using 35mm Eastman Color Negative Type 5251 fine-grain film, the 'Captain Scarlet' end credits were catalogued as job number 154. In the final sequence, the original concept of rapid zoom into a close-up of Scarlet on each painting was dropped; instead, each pair of captions simply cut from the wide view to a close-up" -Quoted from Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons: The Vault by Chris Bentley (Available from the Gerry Anderson Shop - https://shop.gerryanderson.co.uk/prod...)
