Karajan Fellow Interview with Antonia-Alexa Georgiew

Former Violin-Wunderkind and Karajan Fellow Antonia-Alexa Georgiew is refreshingly honest about the highs and lows of her impressive career as a violin player. Growing up in a very supportive and art loving family, her talent for the violin was discovered and developed early. Everything went very well for her until she turned 16. This is when she had a breakdown. She managed to bounce back. Fast forward to now: Antonia-Alexa Georgiew is first violinst for "Jedermann" at the Salzburg Festival and also plays at the Burgtheater. If this wasn't impressive enough, she also has been playing for several years with the hugely successful band Russkaja. Currently she is producing the first Album with her own metal band and plays with various rock bands. Host & Producer: Julia Binek
