Always wear safety glasses and keep your skin protected at all times. This is an advanced soap making technique. Before attempting a dual-lye soap, it is highly advisable to start with basic cold process soap and gain a thorough understanding of the process and how to deal with lye. When adding the dual-lye solution to the oils, the mixture can volcano up and out of the pot. Both calculate amounts for hybrid lye solutions.
