EDIT: In this video (and maybe others) I said the factory pistons were forged. This came from several forums that I followed, but it seems like they were all referencing the same bad info from marketing on the XK, or referencing the F-type Arden SVR builds when talking about the stock 5.0. They were originally cast pistons from Kolbenschmidt. Sorry I didn't catch this until after posting, but it just underscores how difficult it is to find solid info on these engines! Today is an overview of the rotating assembly from my AJ133; the crankshaft, bearings, connecting rods, and pistons.
