There is nothing quite like this filter. It's a vicious, angry, crazy filter that overdrives and self-oscillates like a nuclear plant going terribly wrong. You don't play the Polivoks VCF: you stay out of its way and steer it by throwing rocks at it. The setup goes like this: I'm driving 1v/oct on the Z3000 with a quantized Step LFO from Expert Sleepers Silent Way through the ES3, and the other channel of the Step LFO triggering the Ch1 cycle on the Maths. Ch1 of the Maths is driving the DIY Polivoks EG which modulates filter cutoff CV. CH4 cycle on the Maths is modulating the PWM of the Z3000 for a bit of flavor. Drum track is a TR8 and the FX are on the sends in Ableton live.
