Hello, viewers and here I present to you the first Fox Travels vlog of 2026 and for this vlog, we'll be focsusing on my day at the Nene Valley Railway in Peterborough (The most DIVERSE heritage railway in the UK) and the main reason why I went there was because there was a steam engine running that day that I REALLY wanted to see in action, in person and that loco is the PKP Class Tkp 'Slask' 0-8-0t No.5485, a Polish-built Industrial tank engine that hasen't run on the railway for quite some time but returned to regular service the day I went there (21/02/26). As you know me, I am a BIG Polish steam locomotive enthusiast because I'm a half-Polish person and at this point the only operational Polish steam loco I saw was Pt47 'Petucha' 2-8-2 'Mikado' express engine No.Pt47-65 at Wolsztyn and I really wanted to see another Polish engine in operation and so when I saw that the Nene Valley's Slask was going to be running on a weekend, I immediately booked my tickets and it was a very FANTASTIC day.
