It was one of the most memorable hunts I will ever experience. A second chance story that began with an encounter with a giant public land buck (check out EP.001 to watch). After getting busted by the buck during that first hunt, we decided to try to get permission on as many adjacent properties as possible in preparation for a second attempt later in the year. And thank god we did because the final hunt was on the small piece of private next door. Fast forward to November, I answered a surprise phone call with a bloody hand. My uncle was finally headed in for a long-awaited lung transplant. Two miracles on the same day, a lesson in perspective, and a bow hunt that will be burned into my memory for the rest of my life.
