Saif Ali Khan Attacked With Knife At Home, Hospitalised | ISH News

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, known for films like Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Race, was attacked at his home in Bandra West, Mumbai, on 16th January 2025. The incident took place around 2:30 AM when Saif woke up to suspicious sounds. He confronted an intruder, which led to a scuffle. The intruder stabbed Saif six times before fleeing the scene. Saif was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital at 3:30 AM, where he underwent a 2.5-hour surgery. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of the hospital, confirmed that one of the stab wounds was dangerously close to his spine. Saif is now out of danger and is recovering under medical supervision. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif's wife, was not at home at the time. She was dining out with her sister Karisma Kapoor and friends. Kareena was later seen outside their home in Bandra, providing an update on the situation. A statement from her team confirmed that the family is safe, and Saif is recovering well. The Bandra Police have launched an FIR against the intruder. Initial investigations suggest the attacker might be linked to one of Saif’s house staff. CCTV footage shows no outsiders entering the building after midnight. The Mumbai Crime Branch is handling the investigation and has formed several teams to search for the suspect. In an official statement, Saif’s team thanked fans for their support and requested privacy while the police investigate.
