Hello adventurers! :D Today I played through the world of Kilforth, well more like the end of the world lol this is Veilwarith, by Tristan Hall! I really wanted to highlight this game because he is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE solo board game designer. Veilwraith is a very tactical focused kind of game, and it forces you to make hard choices. You have to be strategic with when to use certain abilities and really take advantage of your keys! 00:15 - Overview & Back Story 02:00 - Rules & Round Summary 02:27 - Explanation of 3 Main Actions 04:28 - Example of Using Actions 08:10 - Explanation of Ribbons 08:45 - Changing the Difficulty Levels 09:28 - Start of Playthrough 39:16 - Boss Fight (Foe) 43:40 - End of Playthrough Tristan and his art team are SO talented and create such beautiful adventure games. I'd say Veilwraith isn't as "vibrant" or detailed because it's supposed to fit that dark, gloom-n-doom, memories-fading, kind of theme. ALSO A NOTE: This game has some "revealing" art, so I'd say it's NOT for kids. There is an expansion for alternative art, just a fyi for any families! But seriously, the solo experience for literally all of his games are EXCELLENT and so smooth to play. My favorite of his is Call of Kilforth, the third in the Kilforth Series.
