At age 15 she dusted off her sister’s old Yamaha keyboard and began to turn the poetry she has been writing into songs. She successfully finished an arts charter school in Phoenix, where she further developed herself as an artist. Now, in her early twenties, she has a wide range of songs, mainly Pop, with touches of Folk, A-Capella sounds, Jazz-Blues, Soul and a bit of Indie. Her adaptability with vocal sound has benefited her greatly as a performer of various projects she has been part of, and she always takes on new challenges lyrically and style-wise. She joined forces with the School of Music and Lyrics in 2015, which resulted in several music productions, combining her unique style and sound with jazzy pop songs and video clips directed by Jasmine herself.
