The Kentucky Horse Park's "Parade of Breeds" show, August 23, 2012. Breeds in this video: Lipizzan Fell Pony Paint Akhal-Teke Friesian Connemara pony Morgan Appaloosa Marwari Percheron Friesian appearing with Clay Maier Movie recorded with my Canon VIXIA HF G10. This was the first time I had taken the camcorder out for a good test. I had bought it a few weeks earlier, the first camcorder in my hands in roughly 15 years. At this point there were still settings I hadn't explored, white balance for example, so the video will shift from orange to blue in a few spots. I have this weird tendency to tilt the camera a few degrees to the right and it was difficult to zooming and tracking the horses at the same time. I corrects a lot of the rotation in Premiere Pro and cut out the worst of my jerky camera movements, thus the reason for my excessive use of slow motion, adding length to the video without shortening the audio much. The audio is from the camera mic, enhance slightly in Premiere. Also brightened the shadows and made color adjustments similar to what I like to use in my still photography. This video shouldn't be looked at as an example of image quality out of the camera for so many reasons. The original quality is very good and I suggest you search for videos made purposefully to test quality. This camera is obsolete at the time of posting anyway, it just took me 1.5 years later to have a few free days to edit my recordings from that day.
