Kochi: Canara Bank Staff Serve Beef to Protest Alleged Canteen Ban, Left Party Joins | India Today

Canara Bank employees in Kochi, Kerala, staged a protest over an alleged unofficial beef ban in the office canteen. The Bank Employee Federation of India organised the demonstration against the regional manager, who reportedly imposed the ban. In protest, employees served and consumed beef outside the regional office. The protest also aims to address other complaints against the manager, including allegations of mental harassment of employees. The protesters have received support from the Left party, with MLA KT Jalil stating, "No Sangha Junda to be allowed in the state."
