This week in my London Marathon training things are still a bit challenging as I continue recovering from an ankle injury… but the miles are still getting done! After sticking with my physio exercises, I was allowed to do a 10 mile run using my 30/30 run-walk intervals. I entered the Rose Run by Phoenix Running, in Winchester, completing 4 laps of their 2.62 mile course along a beautiful riverside route. Training hasn’t been easy lately, but with just 6 weeks to go until the London Marathon, the focus is on consistency, recovery, and staying positive.
