Winter Service on Roads. PIARC Seminar Kiev, Ukraine. Day 1 13/12/21

The Virtual International Seminar “Winter service on roads and other public places” ran from 13 to 15 December 2021. It was jointly organised by the World Road Association (PIARC), the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Infrastructure Association. Jointly organised by PIARC Technical Committees and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the seminar was attended by representatives of governments and affiliated agencies, as well as experts and researchers from numerous countries. They shared their knowledge and expertise, discussed ideas and experiences, transferred information and technologies and examined a wide selection of questions to improve winter service on roads and public spaces. For this event, PIARC Technical Committees and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine jointly contributed to the seminar’s programme. The seminar showcased global and local policy, strategy, innovation, and success that can be shared and used around the world by the global PIARC community.
