Sawai Madhopur Lodge, a property under the supervision of Taj Group, is located in the scenic zone of Ranthambore Forest. Earlier, this destination hotel used to be the hunting lodge of a royal family of Jaipur where the original set-up was done by building the tents on a temporary basis for the number of guests of the noble family. The place was for the keen purpose of outing and having a relaxing time. And, when the guests and Royal family used to get back to Jaipur, the tent set-up was dismantled in unfavourable seasons. With the passage of time, the property went under making permanent structures using the lime and stones by giving it a feel of villa assembling the glimpse of Spanish architecture with ancient importance.
