1968 Honda Z50 (Z50A-103557) a beautiful collector piece. I have what was told to be a never ridden 68 Honda Z50 I'm thinking about doing an auction on. Vin: Z50A-103557. The story on this bike : A friend told me about this bike years ago. It was on his bucket list to own since he originally had seen it as a kid. He promised himself he would one day own it and hear it run. And recently he did just that.. This bike is supposed to have been on dealership showroom display it's entire life. Don't know it's history. If it was built from spare parts. Resored. Or how much restoration it underwent. Etc. (I don't aim to be an expert on this bike) The owner had since passed away. The family member said it was rumored to have never been ridden. But they said over time some items had been replaced, reconditioned, restored do to keep the appearance in new condition for the display purpose. Parts had been added such as the chrome Hondaline skid plate. The family member didn't know what had all been done to it for sure. My friend purchased the bike from the family member and filled his bucket list and added it to his collection. But now wanted to see someone else enjoy it. I don't believe there is any true way to know what's really been done to it or not. So we will call it a "Restoration" or "Build" for the above described purpose. But none the less. This dosnt mean it has or hasn't been ridden. I can tell you it's absolutely beautiful and in new condition as it sits now. So beyond that story, I know nothing.. And I have no reason to not believe it. I'm not into these bikes personally. I'm getting ready to sell this on ebay etc.. But if someone wants to DM me directly and toss a number at it. Feel free.
