Vegan Babybel 🧀🧀 ••• Do you need any more proof the world is going vegan!?!? When such an iconic cheese like @babybel.uk that has got to mean something pretty seismic! ••• A Babybel used to be an absolute staple in my lunch box as a kid and they’re such an iconic cheese I couldn’t wait to try these vegan versions. ••• First off price: they’re actually pretty close to the non-vegan versions!! They are £1.95 for 5 and the non-vegan are 2.05 for 6, which is pretty good for a big brand going vegan. ••• Packaging: I was like oh why do they put it in a plastic bag….it’s NOT plastic, it’s paper! Epic! And they offer terracycle for the plastic wrap and wax case which is actually quite cool. ••• But we are your vegan food explorer so we are interested in TASTE! I have to say I was super impressed actually. They aroma was light, fresh with a slight twang, and that’s exactly what the flavour was like.
