Cedar Creek Lake Bass Fishing March 12th 2025

I had a day off so I decided to head up to Cedar Creek and see how it was doing. I hadn’t been there since around the first of this past November. When I launched and saw the water color, my hopes weren’t very high, but I managed a decent day after all. Every bite I got was on a 1/2 ounce Strike King Thunder Cricket in fire craw with a 4” fire craw Shakin’ Shad by #CANDSLURES. The rod I was using was a new 7’3” medium heavy/fast by #DIXIECUSTOMRODS. If you haven’t fished with any of their rods, do yourself a favor and check them out. Dewayne Wilson is a great guy and will treat you right. All of these fish were super shallow and I think Cedar is getting close to being on fire! When the water temp comes up just a few more degrees and clears up just a little, watch out!
