Today I played Bink's Sake or also known as Bink's Brew/Binks no sake from One Piece on piano! In my last video, I played this amazing song in public so feel free to check it out right after this video on my channel! Kohei Tanaka did an amazing creating this joyful and catchy tune for everyone to sing-a-long and come together in the anime and to the audience as well! Starting out the video, I made the intro sound lively to bring a cheerful mood just like similarly in the anime when Brook began to play to everyone! On 0:44 is the beginning of where everyone sings the song with joy and happiness! Throughout the song, I also give it room to breath after the words, "It's time to ship out Bink's Brew" so the chords wouldn't be muddy and the song can be enjoyable. I noticed Brook played a Bb augmented chord when going to the next verse and I was able to add it where you would hear it on 0:51 as well. Now we are back to the intro before we go into the next section of the song full of energy again! On this section, I wanted to make it calm and still joyful at the same time by using a little bit of quiet dynamics and phrasing on 1:19 just to have the audience feel that our pirate ship is still sailing with nothing to worry as we continue the journey with our friends! Right after 2:26 is my favorite part of the song, Brook's solo! As I looked at various piano covers of Bink's Sake, I sadly didn't find anyone that put more "emphasis" into Brook's solo that I feel is the major connection point between him and the audience. On this I brought the volume down and played to bring out an emotion of sadness of how Brook sings that the crew won't last forever, but throughout the journey they will always have hope, love, and memories that was created that will still live on forever! On 2:46 we are back in high spirits and the crew continues to journey happily while still traveling the seas! Sadly, the song is now coming to a close on 3:17 before we start our next grand adventure with the crew again someday. Brook does an amazing job finishing the song, but in a way that we will all be back singing it again together! I think I should really continue to make cover of OSTs' since they're so amazing! Again, I am so really happy to play this song for you guys! I hope you guys really enjoy the video and have an amazing day as well! I should be crying tears right now, but I don't have any eyes!
