IRAN Locals Take Me Out for Sheep Head Dinner 'Kale Pache' 🇮🇷

While traveling Iran in 2022, I came across an interesting dish called Kale Pache. A local delicacy within the country that consists primarily of Sheep head. However, my Persian friend decided to give me the 'real' Kale Pache experience by ordering not only the head but also the stomach and testicles as well. We ate tongue, brain, face, testicles, and eyeballs for this meal. Despite Kale Pache being out of the norm by a lot of western standards, this was actually a pretty delicious meal. The meat was soft, tender, and had rich flavor. Locals usually wake up before sunrise to eat Kale Pache, which is served as a very early breakfast essentially. The one thing that I luckily did not have to eat was the sheep eyeballs... Just a single 100g serving contains as many as 300 calories. An unforgettable meal while traveling Iran in 2022. Iran food is delicious and I cannot recommend traveling to this country and trying their cuisine enough. Iran people are amazing, their culture is beautiful, and the food only adds to the magic that is Iran.
