Missing Sathya Sai Miracles Because Of Our Plans And Expectations | The Hostel Visit Story

How many times in life have we missed ‘what’ we wanted because it did not come to us in the manner in which we expected it to? God always answers our prayers but we have to be open in our minds and, more importantly, in our hearts! So lost are we in our idea of how our prayers should be answered that we miss what is it that we are actually praying for itself! Among the several magical memories that a Sai-student carries of life at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, a Divine visit to the hostel often ranks very high. When Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba visits the hostel, it feels like the Lord wanted to call all the students for an interview but did not have an interview room as big as His heart! And so, He decides to visit the students in the hostel. Here is a personal experience where all the students of our class prayed to Swami to visit the hostel. He did not come; yet fulfilled our hearts' desires. He came; yet we didn't feel like He had come! Enjoy this unique experience.
