Movin' On - Bad Company (Guitar Cover)

Tuning for this cover (and I believe Mick Ralph's live sets) - CGCGCE. This allows you to play the studio-version solo, verses, and chorus parts with pull-offs on the 1st and 3rd strings. Also allows for the nice little riffs after the 1st verse and at the end of the song. This tuning is also good for the slide which Ralph uses to do his solo's on all the live footage I can find. In an interview he stated that in the studio he used a slightly different C-tuning (CCGCEC) for this song. The pull-offs then change to the 2nd and 4th strings, but the fret positions are basically the same. It sounds great, but then you cannot do the solos and fancy riffs in the song. Not a problem in the studio with multiple tracks and guitars, but not good live which is why I think live he goes with the standard Open-C tuning noted above. Peace.
