**CAUGHT ON CAMERA** High-Speed Freeway Crashes Caught on Camera on 101 Freeway in Los Angeles.

**NOT FOR BROADCAST** Luckily there were only minor injuries in the chain reaction crash that happened around 12:15 a.m. Friday in the eastbound lanes of the 101 near Hayvenhurst Avenue. It all started when a driver lost control and flipped their vehicle leaving it facing the wrong way in the number one lane. Multiple people stopped in lanes to assist with the initial crash when at least 2 other drivers failed to stop in time and careened into the stopped vehicles. At one point, a man was seen walking on the freeway towards a car when there was another crash - and that person was nearly hit. He avoided serious injury by jumping onto the center divider with inches to spare. "I almost hit this car... because there were no flashing lights. It was dark. I got out to see if the person was OK and this car hit it, and he missed me by this much, I almost died," said one man who was involved. LAFD transported at least one person to a local hospital with what seemed to be only minor injuries.
