While most players are encouraged to develop their shooting form, and only really forbidden from doing something if they truly can't do it correctly, there was one NBA Player, Gary Payton II (not to be confused with his father, Gary Payton Sr. of the Seattle Supersonics/Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat), who, despite having almost perfect shooting mechanics, was literally banned from shooting by the initial NBA team's he played for. From the Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks and the Washington Wizards, no one, and I mean no one, wanted GP2 to shoot.
