Half-Life 2 - Ravenholm Ambience

2021 Update: I've managed to find the login info for this old account so I wanted to post some updates. I've long since abandoned this channel and started a new one. I've gone through the existing comments and made note of the video requests some of y'all have left and will take them into consideration. -------------------------------------- (original video description) finally uploading something here...XD This is a test for my Half-Life 2 ambient project. I love the game for many reasons, it's amazing sounds-capes being one of them , so I started this project of recording the various soundscapes throughout the game. I know there is a Ravenholm ambient video already on youtube, but in my opinion the sound was too distorted (probably recorded at too high a volume level). So unfortunately to ensure no distortion I recorded this at a somewhat low-level so there is a bit of hiss in the background. But at least it fits the dark mood. Also this one is unique in that it features the rare "child scream" sound that I have only heard once or twice out of every time I've beaten the game. Boy did that make me jump. ^^; I heard just as I looked up into a broken window while recording this. Eventually...er, hopefully. When I stop lazing about I'll clean up all the soundscapes I've recorded and share them here ^^ I've done a lot of Half-Life 2, some Portal 2, and various other games as well. --------------------------------------------
