Power Hammer Tooling Part 1: Tools for Use with the Hardy Hammer (or Other Small Power Hammer )

This video is Part 1 of my Power Hammer Tooling for my Hardy Hammer. This type of tooling can also be used with another type of small power hammer (such as my original DaVinci Cam hammer, or my Revisted Cam Hammer). In this video, I show you how to make the handle ends for the three types of hand held tools we are making as top tooling for power hammer forging. This style of tooling for the power hammer has a similar effect to forging dies on a power hammer. Instead of fixed power hammer dies, these handheld top tools allow for quick changes between processes while forging. This style of handle protects your arms and wrists from the kinetic energy of the power hammer. You can use this type handle to make these type of top tools and more: hot cuts, butchers, fullers, set down tools, ett.
