Team AV was on the ground and had the chance to sit down with lead plaintiff, Evan Milligan. Milligan, a Montgomery, AL. resident, shares his journey in the redistricting lawsuit since 2021. He talks about the challenges Alabamians face, the fight it has been for the last four years, the adversity and the victories. Milligan highlights the ongoing resistance in Black communities and the commitment to advocacy for equitable representation.
