Gus Sebring/Daniel Katzen, horns It's been a great joy to share Boston's Symphony Hall stage with so many wonderful colleagues, not least the 27 years Danny and I spent as horn section mates. In April 2015 Danny invited me to the studios of the U of A in Tucson to record the Mozart duets, and the Beethoven sextet for Horn and strings. As ever, thinking as one in terms of musical line, phrasing and character, the sessions went quickly, leading to this wonderful record of our unique musical journey. We are blessed to share these Mozart duos, set here to a backdrop of nature in New England.
