Yes, you read that correctly. FMCSA had to extend the temporary waiver, or reissue the waiver due to 8 states that are not in compliance with the National Registry (NRII) rule. This video outlines the process, gives a little history on the National Registry II rule, and identifies the eight remaining states that are out of compliance. These 8 states are dragging their feet causing frustration for Drivers and Motor Carriers across the country.
