The most magical parts of Center Parcs aren’t activities… they’re moments you never planned. This day had nothing booked, no schedule, and nowhere we needed to be — just peaceful forest walks, golden light through the trees, and that unmistakable feeling of being completely immersed in Longleat Forest. There’s something about this Forest that just stays with you. The light through the pines, the quiet paths, the stillness between moments — it’s the kind of scenery that instantly brings back memories the second you see it again. This village, in our opinion, might be the most beautiful Center Parcs has to offer, especially during Winter Wonderland when the forest feels calm, cinematic, and almost untouched. This video captures that perfectly — from the golden morning light to the peaceful walks, the reflections on the water, and those slow, unplanned moments that make a stay here so special. If you’ve ever been, you’ll feel it instantly… and if you haven’t, this is one of those videos that shows just how stunning Longleat really is. We begin the morning outside our lodge, greeted by crisp air and a beautiful surprise from Santa left on our door for our daughter. From golden sunlight filtering through the trees to peaceful morning swims, quiet moments back at the lodge, and wandering the village at an unhurried pace, this day is pure Center Parcs nostalgia. There’s a first swim of the day, colouring and playtime at the lodge, a little retail therapy at the Plaza, and a scenic bike ride far beyond our accommodation — including a long-awaited return across the newly reopened Wessex Way and the hidden Cascade Way boardwalk that many guests never see. As evening arrives, we enjoy one of our favourite activities with bowling at the newly refurbished Leisure Bowl, followed by one final family swim — and one last ride on the Rapids for 2025. We round off the day with a relaxed meal out, already feeling that familiar mix of contentment and “not ready to leave yet”. This video isn’t about rushing from activity to activity.
